Pioneer Builders Bond – High-Strength Professional Grade Construction Adhesive
Pioneer Builders Bond is a one-part, high-strength construction adhesive specifically formulated to replace nails and screws in many interior and exterior applications. This 384g cartridge provides a heavy-duty "instant grab" that reduces the need for bracing and mechanical fasteners, making it an essential tool for professional tradespeople, carpenters, and DIY enthusiasts.
It is designed to bond a wide variety of building materials, providing a clean, professional finish without the visible heads of nails or screws.
Key Features
- High Initial Grab: Features a thick, non-slump consistency that holds materials in place immediately upon application.
- Superior Bond Strength: Once fully cured, it creates a bond that is often stronger than the materials being joined.
- Gap Filling Properties: Bridges gaps on uneven surfaces, ensuring a solid bond even when the substrates are not perfectly flush.
- Water & Weather Resistant: Durable enough for use in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Reduced Splitting: Eliminates the risk of splitting wood or damaging delicate panels that often occurs with traditional nailing.
- Versatile Compatibility: Works exceptionally well on wood, plywood, particle board, masonry, brick, concrete, ceramics, and metals.

Application Instructions
1. Surface Prep: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, or old adhesive.
2. Application: Cut the tip of the nozzle at a 45-degree angle. Apply a continuous bead of adhesive (approx. 6mm wide) to one of the surfaces in a zigzag pattern.
3. Bonding: Press the surfaces together firmly. For very heavy items, temporary bracing may be required until the adhesive sets.
4. Cleanup: Clean up any excess wet adhesive with mineral spirits. Once cured, it must be removed mechanically (sanded or scraped).
Pro Tip: For faster drying on large flat surfaces, press the materials together, then pull them apart for 3–5 minutes to allow the solvent to vent, and finally press them back together firmly.
